I helped launch a new company value at Apple — the Racial Equity and Justice Initiative (REJI). Born out of the racial awakening of 2020, REJI was created to start addressing the long-standing, far-reaching issue of systemic racism. REJI launched at the start of Black History Month 2021, in concert with the debut of the special edition Black Unity Apple Watch.
